PetClearance is built with a local-first, data-minimized design so you can calculate pet travel paperwork schedules without creating an account or sharing personal contact details.
1. Local Browser Checklist Storage
When you enter your pet's name, route, airline, breed, weight, or target flight date—or save an itinerary to My Checklists—that information is stored locally in your own browser's localStorage. You can delete any saved checklist at any time using the trash icon inside the calculator or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
2. Payment Processing via PayPal
Optional purchases of the $29.00 USD Full Compliance Packet are processed directly by PayPal through the official PayPal Smart Buttons SDK. PetClearance never receives, views, or stores your credit card number, debit card details, or bank login credentials. Once PayPal confirms payment capture, an unlock flag is saved in your browser so you can generate your PDF and .ics calendar files immediately.
3. Hosting & Standard Request Logs
PetClearance is hosted on Vercel. Like all web servers, standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp) is processed transiently to deliver pages, mitigate abuse, and diagnose errors. We do not sell personal data or run third-party behavioral ad trackers.
