Overview & Policies

Authentication, Versioning & Rate Limits

Authentication: Public read-only GET endpoints require no API key or bearer token. CORS is open (*).
Versioning & Deprecation Policy: Endpoints are versioned in the URL path under /api/v1/* and emit X-API-Version: 2026-11-01. Breaking changes require a new /api/v2/* prefix, and deprecated versions return standard Deprecation and Sunset headers for at least 180 days.
Rate Limits & Error Format: 120 requests per 60 seconds per IP, communicated via RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, and RateLimit-Reset. All 4xx/5xx responses return RFC 9457 application/problem+json with machine-readable code and message fields.
